The front cover of the book features the English title of the book foiled in gold. Around it are Bible verses written in Cantonese Chinese (Genesis 11:8-9) foiled in silver. The back of the book is like a mirror of the front except that it has the Cantonese title of the book foiled in gold, and around it is the English translation of the same bible verses.
“So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”
Cover is an original design by Mary Townsend. Endpapers are hand marbled black paper.
